I have gathered here for the benefit of my brothers and sisters, questions and answer according to the ruling of the Shafi’i madhhab.
My primary source so far is SunniPath and also the Shafii Community wiki
Insha’ Allah, I will try to look elsewhere for Q & A’s according to the madhhab of Imam Muhammad bin Idris al-Shafi’i, the second mujaddid.
Shafi’i Madhhab’s basic chain of transmission
Alhamdulillah, our brothers at Shafii.org have created a jpeg file about the basic chain of transmission starting with the Holy Prophet (pbuh) all the way to Imamuna Al-Shafi’i all the way until Shaykh Muhammd Yasin bin Muhammad Isa al-Fadani ( originally from Padang, Sumatera in Indonesia ).

Here I wish to gather informations from more knowledgeable sites concerning the chain of transmission of the madhhab, renowned scholars of the madhhab, books authored by Shafi’i ulama and etc.
